Belgian Coffee
Ingredients: (Serves 6)
2 egg whites, beaten stiff
2 cups whipped cream, sweetened, with vanilla added
hot black coffee
Half-fill preheated cups with beaten egg white and whipped cream mixture. Fill with hot coffee, serve at once.
Banana Shake
Ingredients: (Serves 2)
1 1/2 cups cold strong coffee
3 tablespoons sugar
1 banana
1 cup vanilla ice cream
Cut banana in chunks and combine with coffee and sugar in blender at high speed. When mixture is smooth, add ice cream and blend at medium speed until smooth.
Black-Bottom Coffee Milkshake
Ingredients: (Serves 6)
3/4 cup chocolate syrup
1 quart vanilla ice cream
1 1/2 cups milk
1 Tablespoon instant coffee
1 square unsweetened chocolate, shaved for decoration
Divide ice cream among 6 chilled 8 or 10 ounce glasses; stir to soften slightly. Heat to just below boiling the chocolate syrup, milk and instant coffee, and pour over the ice cream. Top with unsweetened chocolate shavings.
Variation:
Use 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon instead of coffee
Chocolate Coffee
Ingredients: (Serves 6)
2 tablespoons finely ground coffee
1/4 cup sugar
dash of salt
2 1-ounce squares unsweetened chocolate
1 cup water
3 cups milk
whipped cream
In an ibrik, combine coffee, sugar, salt, unsweetened chocolate and water. Stir over low heat until chocolate melts. Slowly add 3 cups milk, stirring constantly. When piping hot, remove from heat, beat with rotary beater until frothy. Pour into cups and dollops of whipped cream

Prepare:

Place it in trays with separators. Freeze. Place several cubes in a glass Pour over them:

Freshly made hot weak coffee
Cuban Coffee
Ingredients: (Serves 4)
3 cups light cream
1 cup finely ground coffee
whipped cream sugar to taste
Combine whipped cream and coffee in an ibrik, simmer for five minutes. Strain through a fine sieve and pour into preheated coffee cups or glasses. Top with whipped cream. Serve with sugar.
Coffee Milkshake
Ingredients: (Makes 1 Shake)
1 cup milk
1 scoop vanilla or coffee ice cream
2 teaspoons instant coffee
For one delicious, cold drink, fill a chilled tumbler with ice cubes. Fill 2/3 full with cold milk, top off with cold coffee. Spoon vanilla ice cream on top to taste.
Dutch Coffee
Ingredients: (for each serving)
1 cup hot black coffee
1 cinnamon stick
1 tablespoon heavy cream
1 pat sweet butter
Combine in blender and serve.
Greek Coffee
Ingredients: (for each serving)
1 demitasse of water
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 heaping teaspoon Turkish ground coffee
Bring the above ingredients to boil three times in an ibrik. To serve, pour to 1/4 inch from top of demitasse cup. If you are making several cups, spoon foam into each cup before you pour in the coffee. Let grounds settle. Enjoy.
Hawaiian Coffee
Ingredients: (Serves 4)
2 cups cold strong coffee
1 cup chilled pineapple juice
2 tablespoons sugar
2 cups coffee ice cream
Combine ingredients in blender and mix until smooth and foamy. Pour into tall glasses.
Mexican Coffee
Ingredients: (for each serving)
1 cup water
3 tablespoons dark roasted, coarsely ground coffee
1 cinnamon stick
1 teaspoon brown sugar
Boil the water. Add remaining ingredients. Boil up twice and serve.
Morning Punch Coffee Breakfast
Ingredients: (makes 5 1-cup servings)
1 1/2 cups cold coffee
3 eggs
2 cups cold milk
1 cup vanilla ice cream or plain yoghurt
3 tablespoons honey
if desired:
1 tablespoon chocolate
1 tablespoon brewer's yeast
1 teaspoon grated orange or lemon peel
dash cinnamon, cloves, or ginger to taste
Put all ingredients into a blender and mix at full speed until frothy. Serve immediately in tall, chilled glasses. Makes a great nutritious and quick breakfast.
Peanut Butter Cafe
Ingredients: (Serves 2)
1 cup cold strong coffee
1 cup milk
1 heaping tablespoon peanut butter
4 tablespoons sugar
Mix in blender at high speed until foamy. Serve in tall glasses.
Viennese Coffee
Serve:
4 parts milk, heated (do not boil)
1 part strong black coffee
Or:
Strong Black coffee with a dollop of whipped cream
Or:
Strong Black coffee served with half milk, preheated
