Caffeo Cacao Minto
Ingredients:
6 parts hot coffee
1 part chocolate liqueur
1 part creme de menthe
whipped cream
lemon slice
sugar
Heat a brandy goblet by filling with hot water for a few seconds. Moisten the rim with the lemon slice and ice with sugar. Pour the chocolate liqueur and creme de menthe into the glass and top with hot coffee. Serve with plenty of whipped cream.
Coffee Brandy
Ingredients: (Serves 8)
1 cup brandy
1 orange peel, spiral-cut
4 cinnamon sticks
20 whole cloves
14 sugar cubes
1 2/3 cups strong hot black coffee
Preheat serving bowl and ladle with hot water. Pour brandy into bowl, and add orange peel, cinnamon, cloves and sugar. Flame mixture about two minutes, stirring constantly. Pour coffee in very slowly to extinguish flame. Ladle into demitasse cups.
Coffee Cognac
Ingredients:
7 parts hot strong coffee
1 part cognac
lemon slice
sugar
Moisten rim of claret glass with lemon and ice with sugar. Add coffee then cognac. Flame cognac. Serve.
Coffee of Tropical Delights
Ingredients:
4 parts hot coffee
1 part mixture of Grand Marnier, Cointreau and Galliano
1 part dark rum
shredded coconut, orange peel and lemon peel
whipped cream
brown sugar to taste
Pour rum and liqueur mixture into brandy goblet. Stir in hot coffee. Add brown sugar to taste, without stirring. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with shredded coconut, orange and lemon peel.
Cognackaffee
Ingredients: (Serves 4)
3 eggs, chilled
grated peel of 1/2 lemon
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups cold strong coffee
1/3 cup cognac or brandy
Break eggs into blender, add grated lemon and beat until fluffy. Add sugar and beat until thick. Add coffee, then cognac. Serve in brandy snifters.
Irish Coffee
Ingredients: (1 serving)
4 ounces hot black strong coffee
3 sugar cubes
1 ounce Irish whiskey
2 ounces heavy cream, slightly whipped
Stir coffee, sugar and whiskey in preheated coffee glass. Float cream on top.
Kahlua Coffee
Ingredients: (1 Serving)
1 sugar cube
1 1/2 ounces Irish whiskey
1 1/4 ounces Kahlua
hot black coffee
whipped cream
Crush sugar cube in Irish whiskey in preheated coffee glass. Add half of Kahlua. Fill glass with hot coffee and top with whipped cream. Pour remaining Kahlua over cream.
Mocha Rum
Ingredients: (1 14-ounce serving)
Shaved ice
2 scoops vanilla ice cream
2 ounces light rum
hot black coffee
Half-fill a 14-ounce glass with shaved ice. Add ice cream and rum. Fill glass with hot coffee.
Puerto Rican Coffee
Add 3/4 ounce of Puerto Rican rum to 1 cup of hot coffee.
Spanish Coffee
Ingredients: (1 serving)
4 ounces hot black coffee
3/4 ounce brandy
3/4 ounce creme de cacao
whipped cream
Pour brandy into glass. Add the hot coffee, top with whipped cream. Pour the creme de cacao over the whipped cream.
Whipped Coffee
Ingredients: (Serves 6)
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
8 ounces black coffee, hot and strong
1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 cups hot milk (do not boil)
2 ounces light rum
1/2 cup whipped cream, sweetened
Stir sugar into coffee until dissolved. Add chocolate and cinnamon and stir over low heat until chocolate melts. Add milk. Whip until frothy. Pour into 6 preheated cups. Add 2 tablespoons rum to each cup. Top with whipped cream.
